The Los Angeles Lakers face the Brooklyn Nets tonight as they look to make it 3-in-a-row and continue to build momentum on the annual “Grammy Trip,” which takes them away from Staples Center while the Grammys commence.
One of my favorite players, Pau (Pau) Gasol has been playing great the last two games and hopefully that continues now that Dwight Howard is expected to return from his shoulder injury!
The Lakers are about 3 games out from the 8th spot in the playoffs, so they need to step it up and soon! One player who has stepped it up is Kobe Bryant reminding of the Great Magic Johnson while he’s racking up all those assists.
The Lakers need to stop blowing these big leads or nobody will ever take them seriously. They look great for two or three quarters and then they disappear. It feels like they are just on the verge to success, they just need to stay consistent and continue to jell together as a team.
